Assamese bride matched a silk handloom mask on her wedding

Yes, lockdown weddings are now happening, and they are quite big! While they are many couples who are postponing their wedding plans, there are some couples who are getting married against all odds.

Recently, we have seen social media flooded by the images and videos of a couple who recently tied their knots in Guwahati, Assam.

Well everything about that wedding was special. Where face masks and sanitizers are now known as basic necessity for survival during the pandemic, the way this Assamese bride included a matching silk handloom mask to complement her wedding day look was just so perfect.

The mask was designed by Designer Nandini Borkakati. This Assamese bride’s mask had fringes attached to her mask, to make it look more special.

The masks were crafted using those famous Assam’s paat silk fabric and we just can’t stop looking at them.

Even the groom color coordinated and gave us some major couple pandemic wedding goals.

While people are worried about how things will fall perfectly on their wedding, the way other couples are coming out and making those small little things creative and beautiful is purely an inspiration for all of us!
